At Opus Now, we are dedicated to empowering you to achieve optimal health, authentic self expression, and a deeper enjoyment of life. Our goal is to help you build a foundation for lasting mental and physical well-being.

We offer both conventional psychiatric medication management and integrative mental health care as well as patient advocacy services. The practice is generally rooted in the principles of integrative and functional medicine, which means we tend to look beyond symptoms to uncover the underlying causes of symptoms.

Approach

My approach is non-judgmental and grounded in compassion and curiosity. Life can be challenging, and my first priority is to truly see you and what matters most to you. I aim to listen, validate, and understand your experience as we identify what you’re hoping for and how to get there. This remains true whether we choose to work within a conventional medication management framework (covered by insurance) or take a more functional, integrative path. I offer both as well as patient advocacy (more on services page), always from the perspective of a real person who knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the desk—or the couch.

When I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, Erin became my medical advocate. Using her knowledge of the medical world, she researched, attended appointments, and asked the right questions. Although I had genetic testing that showed I was BRCA negative, she brought up testing the tumor itself for a BRCA mutation—something the oncologist hadn’t considered important and hadn’t mentioned. Thanks to her, the test was done—and to the oncologist’s surprise, the tumor came back BRCA positive. Because of that, I was eligible for a completely different set of targeted therapies that I otherwise would never have been offered. Her advocacy wasn’t just helpful—it was lifesaving.
